Golf Workout for Apple Watch

Golf Workout stemmed from PING’s App Development team wanting to bring more visibility to golf’s health benefits by using key exercise metrics gathered from Apple Watch. With this feature, you receive Workout credit during your round or while you’re practicing. Sensor data is received in an organic, unobtrusive way that doesn’t disturb the tranquility so many of us seek through golf.


Monitor Fitness

Golf Workout records heart rate, step count and calories burned in either the Swing Practice or Play Golf modes. A key benefit, by monitoring your fitness activity, is the ability to close your Activity Rings daily, one of the most popular functions of Apple Watch.

Play Golf With GPS

The Play Golf Function offers a GPS feature that allows you to toggle between hole and green views while accessing precise distances to your target to easily answer the question, "How far?" at more than 28,000 courses worldwide. You can also track fairways hit, GIR, putts per round, and keep score. The app tabulates your stats across every round so you have a running record. *Apple Watch Series 1 uses your iPhone GPS location.

Swing Practice Mode

In Swing Practice, you can time your backswing and downswing, providing a measure of tempo to help hone your swing.
